Based on the internet Report Writer technology, the new CTS Version 6 software scores any of the five CTS questionnaires and generates 2 attractive temperament reports, one for the professional and one for the caregiver. The software comes in 3 versions, PC, Mac OSX and Mac OS9. It is available in 25 or 100 use versions on CD. Both temperament reports include a temperament profile and interpretations of temperament characteristics. The caregiver report is personalized for age and gender of the child and uses the youngster’s first name in behavioral descriptions. The professional report includes validity checks for missing data, social desirability and ratings/perceptions discrepancies.

Like the iReport Writer, the Version 6 software creates the reports in html format so theycan be displayed in any standard internet browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape. Thus, report files are easily shared and can be emailed to the caregiver or other professionals. Sample reports used for instructional purposes can be easily posted on the web!

CTS V6 software comes in several product combinations: Professional Practice Sets with the CTS Test Manual and User’s Guide and CTS questionnaires; with the CD and CTS questionnaires; or just as CDs for users who already have the manual and paper questionnaires. Software uses are registered to a single computer. Purchase of additional registration numbers allows software uses to be registered to additional computers, or when uses are exhausted the CD can be renewed again with a new refill registration number.

The professional completes the CTS form using the CD from the paper questionnaire completed by the caregiver and then instantly obtains 2 reports, a professional report and caregiver report. The reports are displayed right in the computer's web browser window! These reports can be viewed and printed immediately. Results can also be saved in a text file on the user's computer following simple instructions provided. The saved html files can recreate the CTS report in the browser window offline at any time.

The CTS Professional report includes the temperament profile, raw and standardized scores, individualized interpretive report and validity checks for social desirability, missing data and ratings/perceptions discrepancies.

The CTS Caregiver report contains the temperament profile and an interpretive report of scores written for the caregiver and personalized with the child's name and gender.
