The ATQ measures the nine NYLS temperament dimensions in early and middle adulthood. These characteristics include activity level, rhythmicity, approach-withdrawal, adaptability, intensity, mood, persistence, distractibility and sensory threshold. The test manual contains information regarding the development of the instrument, statistics and directions for use and interpretation. In addition it includes the complete NYLS item pool used with the original study group.
The ATQ is a 54 item self-report instrument standardized on the original NYLS sample. It is self-administered in 10-15 minutes and is useful for research or professional practice.
Software
The ATQ software has the unique ability to administer the questionnaire itself from a regular or laptop computer, eliminating the need for printed questionnaire forms. Results are immediately available for review and may be printed out at any time. Detailed instructions for use are included in the User's Guide. |
